PRESIDENT,
EMPTY MUG RECORDS
Manage the Ann Arbor-based student-run record label with a dedication to promoting local artists. Take charge of artist outreach and engagement by curating a variety of live performance opportunities at local businesses and professional venues.
Capture, edit, and publish video, photo, and sound content from concerts, live sessions, and music videos.
Arrange music journalism opportunities for members by organizing teams of writers, editors, photographers, and videographers. Establish connections with local marketing managers to obtain complimentary tickets to concerts for reviewers, and sustain symbiotic relationships between the U-M student body and small businesses.

VIDEOGRAPHER,
THE MICHIGAN DAILY
Produce, film, conduct interviews, edit and publish video content relating to arts, news, and culture with an outreach of twenty-five thousand Instagram followers and nearly a quarter-million website viewers.
Co-producer of Standing Room Only, an NPR Tiny Desk-inspired series, featuring recorded newsroom sessions by local artists.
2020 - 2023
TREASURER & FUNDRAISING HEAD, SIGMA ALPHA IOTA
International professional fraternity dedicated to empowering women through music and sisterhood. Manages club finances and communication with the national chapter. Recording Secretary (2020-21).
Sword of Honor (2022) recipient for outstanding contributions to fundraising efforts and management. Raised nearly fifteen hundred dollars for the organization in one academic year through creative events such as collaborations with local restaurants, a pop-up thrift shop, and professional headshot sessions.
In collaboration with Crescendo Detroit, collected nearly two thousand instruments to be restored and distributed to Detroit public schools.
2022 - 2023
WILD UP, UNIVERSITY MUSICAL SOCIETY 21ST CENTURY ARTIST INTERNSHIP
Operated under the direction and mentorship of conductor Christopher Rountree in Los Angeles, California with the chamber orchestra Wild Up.
Improved marketing strategies for the ensemble, and rebranded social media accounts after conducting extensive research on successful models. Gained over five hundred followers within four weeks of working on the Wild Up Instagram account.
Photographed and filmed content at concerts and rehearsals. Developed a comprehensive understanding of the internal structure and operation of an arts organization.
2021Â - 2022
MUSICOLOGY INTERN, HANDEL & HAYDN SOCIETY
Conduct research and write program notes to expand the biographies of the original members and performers of H+H under the guidance of Dr. Teresa Neff, the H+H Christopher Hogwood Historically Informed Performance Fellow and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Researched and wrote an article on the Original Ten Ladies of the Chorus that appeared in the May 2022 program notes for H+H’s performance of Haydn’s Creation.

THE SAVVY SINGER, RESEARCHER & WRITER, SONGÂ OF AMERICA
A musicology and arts administration course led remotely by world-renowned American lyric baritone Thomas Hampson, and American singer and scholar Christie Finn. Fostered a broad knowledge and contextualization of American song, poets, and composers, while learning to confront issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the current canon.
Learned how to structure creative recital and concert programs while teaching and advocating for the arts in the public sphere. Improved knowledge of non-profit management, and website publishing.
Researched and updated biographies of underrepresented composers and poets to the Hampsong Foundation’s Song of America database.
Created a 30-page mock-degree recital plan and program notes for a collection of Emily Dickinson texts set by female composers.

EDUCATION & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INTERN, ANN ARBOR SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Assisted the Director of Education, Yi-Ching Chen, with the planning, management, and implementation of the symphony’s education and community engagement initiatives by creating and marketing concert programs and presentations.
