ABOUT ME
Molly Schwall is a senior vocalist, videographer, arts leader, researcher, and writer at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance pursuing a B.M. in Musicology with minors in History and Performing Arts Management & Entrepreneurship. Her passions and experience include music education and research, arts administration, marketing, social justice organization, and film.
As a vocalist, Molly studies with Caitlin Lynch and George Shirley while performing in various ensembles from UM’s Chamber Choir to her own band, Tea & Sympathy. She currently works as a videographer for the Michigan Daily and serves as treasurer for the professional women’s music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota. She is president of the student-run organization Empty Mug Records, dedicated to promoting local artists and performance opportunities, and recently spent the summer interning in Los Angeles for the chamber orchestra Wild Up through the University Musical Society.
